Janice ran a helpline on her own for NFU Countryside, working from home, 7.00am – 11.00pm everyday for four and half months. She only ran it on the condition that she helped those who either phoned or emailed for help. Obviously the questions came from across the UK but clearly, the most concern was in Devon and Dumfries & Galloway and she spoke to various vets in Dumfries for answers to the questions she was getting. In this interview with young researchers Tess and Stuart, Janice touches on her time as the helpline lead over the epidemic.
